It’s time to shine a light on the talented women and non binary folk in the LGBTQ+ community!

Submissions are welcome for talented artists, aged 18+, who are looking for a platform to showcase their talent at our first event, taking place on Sunday August 18th from 5pm!

What kind of performers are you looking for?

Anything at all – dance, drag, comedy, singing, storytelling, magic – you tell us!

What kind of previous experience do I need to sign up as a performer?

None whatsoever. This event is targeted at new, up and coming performers who are looking for an opportunity to get themselves into the public realm. If you are already established and frequently performing this event is not for you – we are looking for new talent.

What kind of setup will be available to performers on the day?

The event is happening at Bow Lane Social Club on Aungier Street. The space does not have a stage / elevated platform but all attendees will be seated and you are free to walk around the room. We can provide a mic and amp (if needed) and backing tracks for performers. If you have something specific you need please contact karina@kmurray.ie and we will look into it. Feel free to drop into the venue when passing to have a look for yourself.

How long will I have for my performance?

Each act will have 5 – 7 minutes. This is a short enough duration so pick your best act.

How will the winner be chosen?

The audience vote on the winner via a QR code which will be available to scan in the venue.

Are there any prizes?

Yes, we will have a small prize for first, second and third place – most likely a cash prize but TBC.

How do I submit my interest in performing?

You can sign up via this link here or via the ‘Register Now’ button. Please note – we have no idea how many people will apply but we will try to fit in as many performers as we can.

I have a few friends who want to come on the night. How do they sign up?

Registration for attendees will open approximately 2 weeks before the event. This will be a ticketed event so pre registration will be essential. Performers will not need to register.
