What is the Playground for Entrepreneurs?

The playground is an interactive board game that stands out as unique in the field of entrepreneurship, directly involving participants in working on real projects. This creates opportunities for meaningful reflection, offering valuable insights for both aspiring entrepreneurs and their coaches.

The Playground for Entrepreneurs Focuses On:

• Early-Stage Entrepreneurship: A perfect introductory tool that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and behavior.
• New Business Model Development: Ideal for entrepreneurs actively seeking new business models.
• Students & Classes: Provides engaging, experiential learning for entrepreneurship students in various classes.

In our small groups (minimum of 2 people and maximum of 6) we will move through the game over 2 sessions, learning about each others ideas and supporting each others progress during the process.

Who are these playing sessions for?

Women and non binary people who identify as LGBTQ+ who want to explore their exciting entrepreneurial projects – either completely new ideas or early stage ventures!

You do not have to be self-employed or running a business at present to come along. If it is an area of interest and something you are hoping to do in the future these events will be useful for you.

Open to adults aged 18+.

Where and when will this event be held?

We are hosting 2 separate groups, one in Clare and one in Galway. The groups will meet twice, two days in a row.

Clare: Monday September 09th & Tuesday September 10th, 6-8pm.

OR

Galway: Wednesday September 11th & Thursday September 12th, 6-8pm

Venues

Clare: Clare Education Centre, Government Buildings, Kilrush Road, Ennis, Co. Clare

Galway: Teach Solais LGBT+ Resource Centre, Floor 3 Conference Room 1, Courthouse Square, Galway, H91 VF21

We will be providing refreshments for each session (tea, coffee, baked goods, fruit).

Please only register for these workshops if you can attend both sessions (09th and 10th for Clare OR 11th and 12th for Galway)
