This networking event is a new opportunity for self-employed women and non binary folk within the LGBTQ+ community to connect, collaborate, and empower each other. The goal is to create a space for attendees to discuss challenges unique to self-employment within the LGBTQ+ community, share valuable resources and learn from experts who can support them on their journey.

Who is this event for?

Self-employed women and non binary people who identify as LGBTQ+ seeking a supportive network to enhance professional growth, share experiences, and build valuable connections. You do not have to be self-employed at present to come along. If it is an area of interest and something you are hoping to do in the future you are also more than welcome to join us.

Open to adults aged 18+.

What is the purpose of the first event?

This first gathering is very much an informal get together to network with like minded people and gather insights from attendees on what they might benefit most from over the coming months. We aim to facilitate a warm and inclusive environment to encourage meaningful connections, whether on a personal or professional level, among those who attend.

What are the long term goals of the Network?

Monthly gatherings which focus on different topics based on feedback received from attendees will be arranged. Events will provide a structured networking platform for participants to share insights, skills, and business expertise, as well as bringing in experts to share their knowledge with the Network. A few examples of topics could be business development, personal branding, public speaking and strategies for navigating self-employment, to name but a few.

Where and when will the first event be held?

We will meet in Outhouse at 105 Capel Street, Rotunda, Dublin 1, D01 R290 downstairs in the theatre space downstairs. It will take place on Saturday January 13th from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
